Little quick update for me with a bit of a Throwback Thursday post! All the way back in 2015, we went to Hacostadium in Japan and got to take photos of her beautiful Alice in Wonderland cosplay. Not to mention, we did so in the most appropriate setting I’ve ever seen. Check it out!
It’s time to grab your fleece blankets and pumpkin spice delights! Because today I’m pleased to bring you the latest in this series of Featured Artist Spotlights. And it’s an artist that brings, in her own words “dark and moody” to life with her art. In short, a perfect artist whose work we can look into as schools go back into session and fall’s moody and spooky season rolls in – Wanderlust Photography!
Very excited to bring you all a new set of photos from one of my latest photoshoots! Right before the COVID lockdown happened, I was able to do this shoot with one of my longtime friends Tim Goodell or ogfrogturtler (on IG). To do this, we landed on doing a shoot as Anna and Kristoff from Disney’s “Frozen”. And of course, it had to be an Anna X Kristoff shoot! So I braided my hair (yes, it’s my real hair) and he threw on a wig, and we trekked up to the mountains of Arendelle!
Has it really been almost 2 months since the Katsucon 2020? Boy time flies! In any case, here’s a rather late recap of the even! I waited though to post because I wanted to have some photos of both my cosplays as well as photos I took of others to share with you before I posted. So let’s get right into it!
Running on the theme of all of the beauty that can be captured outdoors, this month’s Featured Artist Spotlight is a photographer who excels at landscape photography, Jeff Storck of “Theoretical Photos”!
Today, we’re diving into one of my past travels in the land of the Rising Sun back in May of 2018 to the island of Okunoshima (大久野島), better known as “Usagishima” (うさぎ島) or the Bunny Island!
I’m super excited to bring you for our next featured artist of the month, a very talented and fun (and super sweet) cosplayer – RaiinFaiiry! A cosplayer of 7 years, RaiinFaiiry has done a wide range of cosplays, from the super sweet Sakura from various CLAMP series to Jack Frost of “Rise of the Guardians”, and isn’t afraid to express herself through her cosplays.
Today for our Featured Artist Spotlight, we’re going to be focusing on, well, a rockstar! REVO is a Japanese musician, music producer, and orchestrator. Additionally, he is known for leading the groups Sound Horizon and Linked Horizon.
I love art and I love the artists that create it. This month, for our Featured Artist Spotlight, I’m super happy to highlight the works of one of those artists, Wingedlight Cosplay! (With a personal interview too!)
Today’s post is about one of my recent adventures in Japan in the beautiful city of Hiroshima (広島). I never got the chance to go to Hiroshima while living in Japan. So in May when I went back, I made sure to add it to my list of places to visit.
